Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Crème Fraiche
This soup is the perfect savory flavor of roasted squash, sauteed shallots, and warm broth, that is finished with a bit of cream and a gorgeous Mickey-shaped swirl of creamy, tangy creme fraiche. It’s simple, flavorful and a beautiful starter to any Thanksgiving menu.
Slow-Roasted Thanksgiving Turkey
Slow-roasting your Thanksgiving turkey produces an amazingly crisp skin and some very juicy meat. It requires a lot of time and a very low oven temperature, so it’s a good method for those with kitchens with two ovens or for when you’re cooking the turkey ahead of time and reheating gently before the big meal.
Grand Marnier Cranberry Sauce
Don’t worry, we won’t tell if you go a little heavy on the Grand Marnier. This is a refreshingly zingy new take on the traditional cranberry sauce that will have your guests raving for more.
Deliciously moist and perfectly seasoned, this traditional recipe for cornbread stuffing really has no rivals. It does take a little extra time to prepare from scratch, but it’s definitely worth the effort and freezes beautifully.
Green Beans with Bacon
Sauté lightly steamed green beans and top with chopped bacon and green onions for a simple and savory side dish.
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Perfectly complimenting the juicy and flavor-filled, slow-roasted turkey, these soft, creamy, and garlic soaked potatoes are pure potato heaven.
Pumpkin Crème Brûlée
The best part is breaking through the hard candy topping. The second best part is, well, it’s pumpkin!
