1 – Walt Disney World Celebrates Its One-Millionth Mobile Food Order

November 30, 2018 • Do you use Disney’s mobile ordering system when you want a meal at the Walt Disney World or Disneyland resorts? You should, or at the least consider it, because mobile ordering allows you to save a potentially significant amount of time when ordering at many of the resorts’ most popular counter service restaurants and snack stands. Using either the official Disneyland or Disney World apps (depending where you are, of course), you can browse the menus for participating locations, select and customize your orders, and pay before you get to the restaurant. Once there, your food is prepared and you can pick it up within moments. Read More

5 – Disney Just Gave Google a Big Advertising Win

November 30, 2018 • Disney (NYSE:DIS) is abandoning Comcast’s (NASDAQ:CMCSA) FreeWheel ad platform for its online video streaming properties. Instead, it’s exclusively working with Alphabet’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google, which is becoming increasingly prevalent in the world of online television advertising. As more and more people watch their favorite TV shows online instead of through traditional broadcasts, it opens the door for better advertising sales solutions. Digitally native solutions have an edge over traditional sales teams from networks and distributors in that they may require less time for both salespeople and ad buyers while producing better results for both. Read More
