What is Club 33?

Opened in 1967, Club 33 is one of the most VIP experiences at Disneyland and is open exclusively to only its members and their guests. Developed by Walt Disney himself to be an elegant escape from the bustle and noise of the park and designed to entertain business associates and investors, it’s been patronized over the decades by presidents, kings, luminaries, and celebrities from around the world. Behind-the-Scenes: Club 33 Merchandise

First off, the shopping experience inside of Club 33 is unlike any other you’ll have inside Disneyland. Instead of elaborate displays, helpful Cast Members, and crowds of people at the register – you might miss the merchandise at Club 33 if you didn’t know where to look for it.

Housed in elegant curio displays, Club 33 merchandise is displayed in an elegant, but discrete, fashion with framed cards for a description and pricing. You won’t be approached by a Cast Member asking to help, nor will you find a line for the cash register to stand-in. Instead, you select your choices by letting the host know and from there they will go back into some magical vault where Club 33 merchandise is created – quite possibly by Tink and her army of fairies – and come back with a nicely packaged bag and can accept your payment directly.

Club 33 Mickey Ears Hat

As an avid Mickey Ears collector, this was the ultimate Club 33 merchandise collectible to obtain for me. (However, I’m too afraid to actually wear them, much like MOST of the ears I have in my collection.)

Club 33 Baseball Hat

Every Prince Charming needs one of these to sport his Club 33 status! Made with a nice soft and breathable fabric, the gold embroidery detail is perfect down to each curve of the design.

Official Club 33 Membership Key

The photos don’t really do this one justice for how detailed the key actually is – notice the Mickey silhouette in the key? The box closes perfectly with magnetic closures and is decorated inside and out with the Club 33 design.

Club 33 Pin Merchandise

This is just one design of many that have come out over the years commemorating Club 33. For pin collectors, getting your hands on one of these is the holy grail of pins!

Club 33 Membership Keychain

Heavier than it looks, this keychain has an amazing level of detail and is one of the more simplistic Club 33 merchandise items you could take home.

50th Anniversary Club 33 Collectors Coin

This is one that isn’t available anymore, so getting it was a must. This coin was created to mark the 50th anniversary of Club 33 and has an impressive amount of detail pressed into each letter and curve.

Club 33 Compact

Okay, so this was hands down my favorite Club 33 merchandise item I selected to take home. The pewter composition with detailing is absolutely elegant and any Disney gal would LOVE one of these.

A Little Extra Disney Magic

When we visited Club 33, it was around my birthday. The Club 33 cast members made my dining and shopping experience a little special with an extra gift of Disney’s heavenly macaroons.

How Can You Buy Club 33 Merchandise?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can’t just walk into the park and ask to shop Club 33 merchandise. It’s an exclusive club for a reason, and access, dining, and shopping are restricted to members and their guests only.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your hands on some Club 33 gear. There are several auction sites online where Club 33 merchandise can be purchased, just make sure you are buying from someone who can prove that it’s an authentic item because, as with anything of value, there are a lot of fakes out there.
